It is one of the greatest achievements by Indian Automobile industry ever. Providing the cheapest car in the world and giving maximum ever fuel efficiency (23.6 kmpl) isn't an easy task. The second mass car for India after Maruti 800 has been launched and bookings opening shortly. This will provide 4 wheel experience to thousands of families who could not afford to have one before. People driving their families on two wheels would like to move up the on the ladder and those driving 800s & Alto would like to marry with it, due to its attractive body and mileage. There is stiil a huge market between these two categories. It is also believed that it might replace some autos as it will cost cheaper than former on road.But this is only one part of the story and the other part takes nano launch as a stimulus for further traffic jams and pollution. For being so cheap, its really going to be a mass car. If it upgrade a two wheeler, then firstly it is creating more pollution than earlier, drinking more fuel, and congesting road with greater area to cover on road.
The recent controversial speech by Varun Gandhi showcase him as a naive and immature for the politics. Varun Gandhi in clarification said that his speech was meant to boost the morale of the local people who were suffering from injustice and corruption in the area. Is there any way that speech is doing justice to them, or is he trying to ignite a second godhra? Nobody except BJP knows whether these views are personal or some political gimmick by the party itself. Whatever the case may be, its sad that religion is being the base again for gaining votes. It is also sad that ideology of Mahatma Gandhi is being called a foolishness. I am not against questioning anyone's ideology, but showing disrespect to that, that too of person of such stature is not justified, and is immoral.
